Praveen Chopra is a practicing Buddhist and has over 12 years of personal meditation practice; and he has completed a 67 hour professional pre-teacher training program in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – approved by the Center of Mindfulness at UMass Medical School and the MBSR teacher training 7 day retreat with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli.  Presently, he is engaged in research on developing a scale to measure Mindfulness.
